The championship record
Who has won the CPL most often?
Trinbago Knight Riders are the most successful CPL champions, with five titles. That total includes the Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel's 2015 win because it is the same franchise, renamed before the 2016 season. Jamaica Tallawahs are next with three titles, followed by the Barbados franchise with two.
Guyana Amazon Warriors, Saint Lucia and St Kitts & Nevis Patriots have each won once. Six franchise records have therefore lifted the men's trophy across the 13 completed seasons from 2013 to 2025.
The 2026 tournament runs from 7 August to 20 September. Its row is marked as pending and will not name a champion before the final is completed.

The Patriots, Jamaica, Guyana and Saint Lucia won in consecutive seasons. Three of those victories were first titles for their franchise records.

Franchise continuity
How renamed teams are counted
- 01
The 2015 title won by Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel belongs to the franchise now known as Trinbago Knight Riders.
- 02
Barbados won in 2014 and 2019 as the Tridents. The same franchise competed as the Royals from 2021 to 2025 and restored the Tridents name for 2026.
- 03
The St Lucia Zouks, St Lucia Stars and Saint Lucia Kings are treated as one continuous franchise.
- 04
Jamaica Tallawahs and Jamaica Kingsmen are separate franchises. Tallawahs titles are not assigned to the Kingsmen, who enter the men's CPL in 2026.
