Roston Chase made 34 before Ackeem Auguste produced 63 from 34 balls. The chase remained alive until the Tridents' spinners took control of the middle and closing overs.

Gudakesh Motie and Mujeeb Ur Rahman combined for five wickets while conceding 49 runs. Motie removed Auguste immediately after his half-century had brought the target back into view.
Amari Goodridge and Matthew Forde found late boundaries, but the required rate was already beyond them. Saint Lucia finished on 168 for 7, nine runs short.
