CPL Confirms Drone Shows for Two Arnos Vale Matches
The Jamaica Kingsmen opener and Sunday's Falcons-Kings fixture will now begin at 7:15pm local time after the displays.

Drone displays added to two St Vincent fixtures
The Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League has added pre-match drone shows to two fixtures at Arnos Vale Playing Field during the opening weekend of the 2026 season. The displays will take place on Friday 7 August and Sunday 9 August before play begins.
Friday's season opener brings Jamaica Kingsmen and Antigua and Barbuda Falcons together, while the Sunday match pairs the Falcons with Saint Lucia Kings. Both games will now start at 7:15pm local time. The revised details are reflected in the CPL 2026 match schedule.
Arnos Vale makes its CPL debut
This season is the first time St Vincent and the Grenadines will host CPL cricket. Arnos Vale has staged 36 men's internationals and was used during the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, but the 2026 opening leg adds the venue to the league's Caribbean route for the first time.

Three matches launch the 2026 season
Arnos Vale will host three matches from 7 to 9 August. The Saturday fixture between St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Trinbago Knight Riders remains part of the opening weekend, although CPL's announcement names drone displays only for the Friday and Sunday games.

Matchday entertainment begins before play
CPL says the large-scale displays are intended to expand the experience for spectators inside the ground and will be visible across the venue. They form part of the league's wider effort to pair its cricket programme with local entertainment at each stop.
The first show will precede the tournament's opening match, giving the new Jamaica franchise and the Falcons a revised 7:15pm start under the Arnos Vale lights.
