Arnos Vale Stadium history and CPL role
Arnos Vale Stadium sits within the Arnos Vale Sports Complex, just outside Kingstown. The ground has long served both cricket and football, and its open setting between the former airport site and the coast gives it one of the most distinctive backdrops on the CPL 2026 route.
International cricket arrived here on 4 February 1981, when West Indies beat England by two runs in a one-day international. Arnos Vale later became a Test venue in 1997 and returned to the global stage for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
Its place in CPL history is new: the first three matches of the expanded 2026 season are also the competition's first fixtures staged in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
