Dwayne Bravo and Ian Bishop Named First CPL Hall of Fame Inductees

CPL confirms its first two inductees
The Caribbean Premier League has selected Dwayne Bravo and Ian Bishop as the first members of its new Hall of Fame. The announcement follows the launch of the CPL Hall of Fame earlier in August.
Bravo enters in the player category after winning five CPL titles as a player and another as Trinbago Knight Riders head coach. Bishop is recognised for his broadcasting contribution to the tournament since 2013.
Barbados gala will support a regional cause
The formal induction is planned for Tuesday, 15 September at the Hilton Hotel in Barbados. Proceeds will support the Sir Clive Lloyd Healthcare Foundation's work on prostate-cancer awareness and testing.
The event takes place during the closing phase shown on the CPL 2026 schedule, with the playoffs and final staged in Barbados.
Recognition of playing and storytelling impact
Bravo finished his playing career as one of the competition's most decorated figures and its third-highest wicket-taker at the time of the announcement. Bishop has supplied many of the tournament's defining broadcast moments.
