01 / The ground
Sir Vivian Richards Stadium was purpose-built in North Sound for the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup. It replaced the Antigua Recreation Ground as the country's principal international cricket venue while carrying forward a name central to Antiguan and West Indies cricket.
The five-storey South Stand and North Stand anchor the ground, with grass banks offering a different style of viewing on either side of the wicket. Its ends honour two more Antiguan fast-bowling greats: Sir Andy Roberts and Sir Curtly Ambrose.
The venue hosts four Antigua and Barbuda Falcons fixtures in CPL 2026, all scheduled for 7pm local starts from 20 to 25 August.
