WCPL takes the Limacol name
The Women’s Caribbean Premier League announced Limacol as its title sponsor on 7 July. The 2026 competition will operate as the Limacol WCPL under the agreement.
Tournament organisers said the brand will appear across match broadcasts, stadium signage, playing kits and WCPL communications. The announcement did not publish the length or financial value of the contract.
Limacol returns to CPL sponsorship
Limacol supported the men’s Caribbean Premier League as title sponsor when the competition began in 2013 and continued for its second season. The WCPL deal brings the company back to a title position more than a decade later.
CPL Business Operations Director Ravina Shankar described the agreement as support for the growth of women’s cricket in the region. Limacol linked its return to the company’s Caribbean identity and its interest in women’s sport.
Four teams will contest the 2026 title
Barbados Tridents, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Empress and Trinbago Knight Riders will play in the expanded competition. Jamaica Empress enters as the fourth franchise.
The WCPL fixture guide lists eight matches at Kensington Oval in September. Separate ticket information appears in the WCPL ticket update.
