WCPL Confirms 2026 Fixtures and Adds Jamaica Empress
Four franchises will contest an eight-match festival in Barbados, with Jamaica represented in the competition for the first time.

- Barbados will host the full tournament at Kensington Oval from 5 to 17 September.

Jamaica Empress becomes the fourth team
The 2026 Women’s Caribbean Premier League expands from three franchises to four with the addition of Jamaica Empress. The new side joins Barbados Tridents, Guyana Amazon Warriors and Trinbago Knight Riders.
The league will use a festival format at Kensington Oval. Organisers also introduced the “She’s In” campaign around women’s sport, community activity and opportunities for young players.
League matches run from 5 to 13 September
Barbados Tridents and Trinbago Knight Riders open the tournament at 3pm on 5 September. Jamaica Empress make their debut against Guyana Amazon Warriors at 2pm the next day.
The remaining league dates are 10, 12 and 13 September. Trinbago play Jamaica and Guyana, Barbados face Jamaica, and Guyana close the group programme against Barbados.
Playoff and final complete the schedule
The teams finishing second and third will meet in the playoff at 10am on 16 September. The table leader will face the playoff winner in the final at 2pm on 17 September.
