Jamaica Kingsmen history and 2026 outlook
Jamaica Kingsmen were launched as a new Caribbean Premier League franchise for the 2026 season. The team has its own identity, ownership and record; honours won by the former Jamaica Tallawahs are not assigned to the Kingsmen.
Based in Kingston, the franchise plays its home matches at Sabina Park. The 2026 schedule brings four consecutive home fixtures to the historic ground from 11 to 18 August.
Rovman Powell, Andre Russell and Odean Smith provide an experienced Jamaican spine. The overseas group is organised around availability replacements and later additions, which is why the published directory contains 20 names rather than a single 17-player active list.
